Welcome to the Q2 meeting of the Mautic Council, where the Council members convene to discuss strategic initiatives and make foundational decisions shaping the future of Mautic.
Council members have a unique platform at this meeting to bring forth and advocate for topics that matter most to our community, fostering innovation and growth. If you are a council member and there are specific topics that you wish to propose for consideration during the council meeting, we urge you to use the Proposals Component on our portal. Your ideas not only pave the way for meaningful dialogue but also form the bedrock of our collective decision-making process.

We need to get to $142,552.57 to break even at the moment.
We are at $96,476.87 income
We are missing -$46,075.70
We have runway until halfway december 2024
What still needs to come in?
- Revenu from events: 35k projected
- Revenu form Trials: 20k projected (first sales are already included)
- Revenu from extra members: Existing ones +20k projected, new ones +60k projected
It seems we will be able to break even. We still have +-9 months.

- Up sponsorships at existing partners > Reach out to: Ekke, Norman, Dries, Friendly, ... > could be 20k probably? How would we do this?
- Marketing the partnerships to agencies > We need a list of agencies already using Mautic. Do we have that? They could be partners. Who want to call them?
- Users of mautic > We have the list: Domi is to add 100 decision makers via linkedin to try and see how they value Mautic > Stepinsolutions are also helping out. First batch has been reached out to. Next wave is trying to call a couple of them. Have others called their customers in the list?
New
Marketing to all agencies using marketing automation > we need a list, is there an agency database somewhere? Idea's?
Marketing to all possible users of marketing automation > we need a list > there are 36M +1M turnover orgs in the world so the Total Addressable market is pretty big. > Idea's?
Marketing the individual memberships >> this could be a quick win if we market this > TODO Decision on the communication.
- Advice is not to create panic but to make people join a growing ecosystem. Yes it is not easy to be independent but it looks we will make the budget and have sufficient runway to do so.

Crowdfunding projects

- Memberships and Crowdfunding could be 1 campaign. "Support a project or make it structural with membership." TBD
Create a product to buy to get Mautic sponsorship through procurement > Ekke > Could we make that tangible? Domi could try to sell it when calling Mautic customers.

Marketing the trials more widely >> ongoing
- We want to extend the funnel to more verticals
- Align PLM with community marketing (see higher) and free trial marketing >> the more people notice Mautic the more free trials
- Dropsolid looking to add extra marketing power to free trials and community team
Sales
- Dropsolid is hiring a new sales person (we have an American who is very community minded in final phase) and
- Dropsolid Sales team project to be calling this week to first leads to try and get conversion
Product
- A developer from India community is hopefully joining the Dropsolid product team to contribute to Mautic and Free trials, he is in final phase.
