Avatar: Official meeting Official meeting

First meeting with the team from the certification provider.

Meeting Minutes

Attendees

  • Prateek Jain

  • Shreyash Solanki

  • Jitesh Khatwani

  • Annam Sreenivasan

  • Ekke Guembel

  • Ruth Cheesley

Notes

  • Everyone introduced themselves and explained how they'd be involved in the project

  • Team ran through their understanding of the scope of the project

  • Initial discovery: 4 weeks (July -> mid August)

  • Curriculum development and proctoring tool setup: 8 weeks (mid August -> mid October)

  • Developer pilot and launch: 3 weeks (mid October -> early November)

  • Suggestion of having discovery workshops, 1 hour in each week. Ruth suggested that sharing some research before cuts down the time.

  • Ekke suggested we need to get interest from the community as to who wants to be involved in what areas, and therefore who'd need to attend each meeting.

  • Discussion on what success looks like for us

  • Discussion on whether to launch with developer or marketer qualification if we launch at London: Outcome is to focus on developers as more likely to want to be able to prove competence etc.

Actions

  1. Put out a press release announcing the selected provider from the RFP and a call for volunteers to join the working group > Ruth to work on this with Shreyash on publishing this on mautic.org.

  1.  Decide which certification to launch with - if we're going to be launching it at Mautic World Conference, we might be better to launch with the marketer qualification?
