Change the pricing model of the free trials

Problem statement

We are not selling enough trials and we want to change the pricing to reflect and offer more value.

The reasons why:

- €10 for every 1000 mails doesn't make any sense, if you compare it to the pricing of other marketing automation tools. 

- We want to be able to onboard clients better, so they become proper ambassadors for Mautic.

Detailed proposal

The changes I'm looking to make:

- Mautic essential will have to start higher.
> We offer a flat fee of €275 per month for 3 months. This gives you up to 50.000 contacts and e-mails.
> Minimum contract length: 3 months.
> You can get a 10% discount if you commit for a year (€247.50 per month or €2970 per year)

- Mautic Pro will start from €1237€/month instead of €550/month
> 50k mails/contacts and separate instance with dedicated hosting and customization options.
This price includes:
> Setup of dedicated server and Mautic instance.
> All major and minor updates of Mautic and the server.
> See list of “What you get” in the estimation sheet.
This price does not include:
> Making project specific custom plugins compatible with new version of Mautic.
> Access to service desk and collaboration tools. (this is to be sold separate - it is part of the building blocks)

Benefits / impact

We will sell more as the pricing will be more aligned with the value we sell and the experience customers will get for that price.

Potential challenges

Perhaps some people might feel the entry barrier is too high. On the other hand we sold zero instances at the lowest tier. We rather have long term and happy customers paying more and getting serviced more than a lot of small customers.
