This Executive Committee is focused on advancing and increasing the recognition and adoption of Mautic. Leveraging proven marketing strategies, they lead initiatives to raise awareness, spark interest, and facilitate widespread use of Mautic's open source project while working in collaboration with the Marketing Team. Their strategic approach is key to positioning Mautic favorably in the marketing automation landscape.
The Marketing and Strategy Executive Committee is an integral part of the Mautic Council, tasked with elevating awareness and fostering increased use of Mautic as a whole. Their focus includes developing effective marketing strategies to amplify Mautic's visibility worldwide. They set the strategic directions for marketing campaigns, and work with the Marketing Team who implement those projects on a day-to-day basis.
Their dual focus lies in raising awareness about the project and converting that awareness into tangible usage, thus driving the platform's growth and prominence in the marketing automation landscape. Additionally, they maintain consistent internal communication within the Mautic community, ensuring its members stay informed and engaged.

- First interview has been conducted and we have three more shortlisted
- There may be some considerations as to how we fiscally work with them - probably contract for a few months first.

- Discussion on potentially joining forces for an open source martech festival in the UK with the team from MarTech Festival in Amsterdam, and maybe having a fringe event as MautiCon
- Discussion on the conversations happening on LinkedIn around the open DXP and the impact on Mautic. We don't think it has a big impact on Mautic at this time but we should keep aware of the conversations.
- Ruth shared that the marketing strategy work has slightly stalled and Ruth is going to take more of an active role in getting this developed - some good work from Isabella and Ruth will follow up with that.
- Trials are going well with the new website and we're getting some good strong positive leads from larger companies now.

- Ruth to ask folks to populate event planning sheet with the events and conferences they're attending
- Ruth to suggest potentially partnering with the MarTech Festival and doing MautiCon as a fringe event
- Ruth will take the lead on the marketing strategy work and pull together an actionable plan in time for the new sales and marketing person starting
