Änderungen an „What editor features should be included in the GrapesJS inline editor?“

Avatar: Ruth Cheesley Ruth Cheesley

Beschreibung (English)

We have a PR where we're working on updating the CKEditor version across Mautic.

In the past we had difficulties with this, because Mautic was using Froala, so we went with a different editor.

Now we want to use the same editor everywhere in Mautic, we have an important decision to make.

What inline editing features of CKEditor 5 should be available when you are working with editable text regions in GrapesJS?

Some things to bear in mind:

    • Features of CKEditor 5: https://ckeditor.com/docs/ckeditor5/latest/features/index.html
    • GrapesJS has a lot of editing and customisation features itself at the block level, so some we might want to purposely exclude for that reason.

Let's have a discussion for the next week and aim to come to a decision on what should be included. The final ✅ will come from the Product Team but we want to hear your views and input.
