Join us for the weekly meeting of the Mautic Awards Working Group, where we will lay the foundation for celebrating excellence within our community. This meeting will bring together people who want to be involved in the team who are working on planning and organizing the inaugural Mautic Awards, set to take place at Mautic Conference Europe in November 2024.
We will outline our objectives, review the proposed award categories and criteria, and strategize our promotion efforts. Additionally, we will discuss the logistics of the awards ceremony itself, and create a timeline to ensure a successful and impactful event.
Hop in and join us if you want to get involved!

Notes from this meeting
- Based on the budget, it looks like it's a bit too expensive for us this time to organise an awards event exterior to the conference - discussion on whether we can then have it at the venue and then have a post-awards event
- Action: Ruth to do a straw poll on if people prefer an awards event that was external to the conference at 150-200 EUR per head, very swanky, high quality, glamorous and exciting, or having it at the conference, really fun evening of celebration with an official after-party.
- Corporate members of Mautic - do we have it set so that it costs more to submit more than one? Perhaps a cost of $250 for each proposal after the first one?
- We should start to think about who we want to have on the panels for each of the panel-based awards
- Invite them ourselves, personally, rather than an open call
- Determine what the panel thinks should be the judging criteria (bulleted list) - add that to the award categories page for more information for people submitting
