About Mautic World Conference (Mauticon) 2026
Mautic World Conference 2026 is the next in the series of flagship events organised by the world's first open source Marketing Automation project, Mautic, designed for inspiration, education, and networking. It is a one-day in-person event which empowers both new and existing Mautic users and marketing automation enthusiasts worldwide to learn, grow and succeed.
Role Overview
The Volunteer Web & Tech Lead will oversee all digital and technical elements supporting the conference, from the event website to registration and digital tools. This role ensures that all online touchpoints are functional, user-friendly, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and update the event website and digital platforms
Support event registration and attendee access tools
Troubleshoot technical issues during promotion and on the event day
Coordinate with the team on tech requirements for speakers and sessions
Ensure a smooth digital experience for all users
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a detail-oriented problem solver who is comfortable with digital tools and enjoys making things work smoothly behind the scenes. The ideal candidate can troubleshoot quickly, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Timelines and Expectations for this Role
Q1: Deploying an updated website, including Pretalx, Pretix, Mautic and analytics tools
Q2: Updating the website with speakers, sponsors, agenda and the event newsletter
Q3: Updating the websites with news updates and general maintenance of the website
Q4: Final event preparations and website updates
Required Knowledge and Experience
Experience managing event websites, landing pages, or registration platforms
Basic understanding of web technologies and digital infrastructure
Ability to troubleshoot common tech issues calmly and efficiently
Familiarity with virtual tools used for events and communication
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Preferred Background
Background in web development, product, IT support, or digital operations
Prior experience supporting websites or tech tools for events
Experience working with international teams or remote projects
