- Promote the date and the Call for Speakers
Program and Airmeet
- Airmeet event is up and running - haven't got much to do there right now. Website also ready to go.
Tech stack
- Just waiting to finish up the Stripe setup - Ruth has had some support from Open Source Collective but they haven't provided the needed details just yet - should be within a day or so though all being well. Action: Ruth to follow up
Marketing
- It would be great to have a marketing plan so we know what is going to be done and when. Action: Ruth to follow up with the marketing team.
Training day
- Joey is happy to do it again, some learnings include making sure people can follow along - some did not have two screens so it was hard to follow. Also people came an and out so it didn't work well going through something which was sequential. Also that they should be a max of 1.5 hours. It was also very tailored (web shop with integration to Mautic) but folks came with their own questions so they kept being stopped.
- Could we maybe do more smaller workshops on the training day? Perhaps 1.5 hours or so or maybe 90 minutes / break / 60 minute follow up
- Make expectations clear about attending the whole session
- Can we make the sessions very specific and focused rather than very wide focused?
- Timezones - ideally morning and afternoon sessions
- Submit via Sessionize
- Do we offer a fixed amount or donation option for the remuneration of trainers?
- Could offer 50% of ticket sales or they can donate that back to the project.
- Maybe ask what they want in remuneration
- Pricing: Last year we offered them at $150 with 8 places available - could do similar
- Decision: Timings: 1.5 hr session, 1hr break, 1hr follow up session. Cost: $150, Revenue share: 50% of ticket sales (or can donate to the project), morning/evening or both sessions. Timings: 8am UK time for morning session, and evening session 3.30 UK time. Action: To add to Sessionize CFS (Ekke).
