General Assembly Meeting 2025

In accordance with section 3.2.1 of Mautic's governance model, all members are hereby summoned to Mautic's General Assembly to be held virtually on 25th June 2025.
The General Assembly has the following powers:
To elect and remove members of the Community Council and Team Leads
To propose the forming or disbanding of Teams
To adopt pricing tiers for membership
To propose changes to this governance model

Voting will open on 19th June 2025 and will close at the commencement of the General Assembly meeting.
Documentation will be attached to the meeting when available, including a full agenda.
Please use the Proposals section if you would like to propose motions for discussion during the General Assembly.

Two in-person events this year - one in India in Pune and one in Lisbon.

Chatbot to help people get started with contributing - will run on Mautic's website to help the onboarding process go more smoothly.

Education team
Migrating the community handbook - lots of new contributors got started with making their first contribution. Planning to close it out by next month.

We will do Hacktoberfest again this year, collaborating with other organisations worked really well.

Develop a smoother review process for the documentation - it takes time and it quite labour intensive.
Improving cross-team collaboration between product, education and marketing for new features so that the docs are there when the PR is merged.
Ayu Adiati has joined the Education Team as Assistant Team Lead since two weeks ago. She came in via Write Tech Hub.

5.0 released at the start of 2024, 742 PRs merged!
Huge jump in test coverage from 30-60% - bit step towards stability and quality
5.1 - new redesign of the user interface
5.2 - new UI features, 12 new features, 97 enhancements, 75 bug fixes.
Mautic 4 support ended on 31 December 2024, ELTS gives 2 more years of support.
More predictable product lifecycle.
Hacktoberfest had 40+ low/no code tasks and 18 PR reviews
Community-led testing efforts under the 'open source friday' banner.
Onboarding for testers and developers so they can be onboarded more smoothly.
Questions in the forums are developing from 2023 being more about migrations, integrations, caching, cron jobs, campaign logic and API issues. Now it's more about the Mautic 5 upgrade, SES and update handling, and integrations. There are less stability questions.
