Alterações em "The Mautic Privacy Project"

There are several ways in which Mautic's privacy-respecting features and functionality can be improved. This project will see us addressing many of them.

This project aims to improve Mautic by addressing compliance issues with GDPR and related legislation through a central, clear interface where marketers can selectively enable tracking features. It will enable Mautic to ship in no-tracking mode by default while educating marketers about the impact of each tracking option at the point of activation. These privacy enhancements are particularly crucial for sensitive organizations such as governments and human rights activists who require robust data protection while engaging with their audiences.

It will be grouped into phases:

Phase 1 - improving Mautic's cookie behaviours

Phase 2 - Enabling access to resources on a 'need to know' basis

Phase 3 - Developing a user interface to manage all tracking features

Phase 4 - Ship Mautic with tracking turned off by default

We estimate this to be deployed for Mautic 9 due to needing to attract funding, however it might be that some aspects can be delivered sooner.
