A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.

Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.

The Mautic Awards are a prestigious event designed to recognize and celebrate the exceptional achievements within our vibrant community. With four distinct categories, the awards highlight the diverse talents and impactful projects that have significantly contributed to the growth and success of Mautic. From groundbreaking campaigns and innovative uses of Mautic's features to outstanding individual contributions and exemplary partnerships, the awards aim to honor those who have made a meaningful difference.

This year, the awards will feature the Project of the Year Award, Community Choice Award, Mautician of the Year Award, Partner of the Year Award, plus two new categories: Mautic Plugin of the Year Award and Mautic Theme of the Year Award. Each category offers a unique opportunity to showcase the best of Mautic, whether through panel-selected accolades or community-driven votes. All submitted proposals will also be featured as case studies on mautic.org and in the Mautic Pitch Deck, providing valuable insights and inspiration to the entire community.
