Event Date: 4-5 November 2024

Commitment: 2-3 hours per week on average, with increased activity in the months leading up to the event.

About the Role:

Mautic Conference Europe is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Volunteer Contribution Day Lead to oversee the planning and execution of the contribution day sprints at our upcoming event in Lisbon, Portugal. This role is essential for ensuring a productive and engaging experience for all contributors, particularly new ones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Coordination: Lead the organization of the contribution day sprints, coordinating with the Venue and Program leaders to ensure all logistical needs are met.
• Mentoring Program: Develop and implement a mentoring program to support new contributors, providing them with the guidance and resources they need to get started.
• Team Support: Collaborate with the Mautic leadership team to ensure the contribution day runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Community Engagement: Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all contributors, encouraging participation and collaboration.
• Availability: Commit to 2-3 hours per week on average, with increased activity in the months leading up to the event, including full availability during the contribution day.

• Event Planning: Proven experience in event planning and coordination, particularly in organizing sprints or workshops.
• Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to build and manage a team of mentors and volunteers effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members, mentors, and contributors.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently during the event.
• Commitment: Dedication to ensuring the success of Mautic Conference Europe and the ability to commit to the required hours.
