Position: Volunteer Design Lead

Event: Mautic Conference Europe

Commitment: 3-4 hours per week on average, with increased activity during the event preparation period and specific intense blocks of work.

About the Role:

Mautic Conference Europe is seeking a creative and skilled Volunteer Design Lead to oversee all aspects of the visual theme for our upcoming event in Lisbon, Portugal, in November 2024. This role is essential for ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual experience for attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership: Lead the development of the event's visual theme, ensuring consistency across all digital and physical assets.
• Team Building: Recruit and manage a team of volunteer designers to work on various aspects of the event's visual presentation.
• Digital Assets: Oversee the creation of digital assets, including graphics for social media and promotional materials.
• Merchandise Design: Design and coordinate the production of event merchandise, such as t-shirts, badges, and other branded items.
• Physical Design: Manage the design of physical materials, including posters, banners, and signage for the event venue.
• Support and Guidance: Provide design support and guidance to the Marketing and Outreach Lead to ensure a unified visual approach.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team leads to align the visual theme with the overall event strategy.
• Availability: Commit to 3-4 hours per week on average, with increased activity during the preparation period and specific intense blocks of work, such as when creating the visual themes for the event.
