We are delighted to announce that Lenon Leite has officially transitioned from a provisional member to a full member of the Mautic Security Team. Lenon has been a great asset to the team since coming on board a year ago, triaging and working on multiple security issues and helping improve workflows within the team.

Lenon's Journey to Full Membership

Lenon's path to full membership was marked by his consistent contribution and commitment to the Mautic community. Membership in the Mautic Security Team is not granted lightly; it requires proven dedication and a track record of significant contributions to the security of the Mautic platform. Candidates for full membership must demonstrate their ability to handle sensitive information responsibly and contribute actively to the team’s efforts.

During his provisional period, Lenon exemplified what it means to be a team player in security. He actively reviewed reported vulnerabilities and proposed patches on GitHub, approached each task with a security mindset, and developed solutions that enhanced our security measures. His engagement in community discussions and his presence at Mautic sprints and events further solidified his reputation and reliability.

As a full member, Lenon will continue to work on critical security issues, contributing a few hours each month as expected of all team members. His role involves not only addressing immediate security concerns but also helping to shape long-term security strategies for Mautic. His ability to maintain involvement consistently has been crucial in his transition to full membership.
