Mautic Trials Working Group

A regular meeting of the working group building the Mautic trials infrastructure and marketing.

Attendees:    

• Ruth Cheesley
• Mike Van Hemelrijck

Notes:

• Still having some issues with the initial sign up -> confirm email -> trial built workflow due to the slow building of segments in Campaign Studio. Action: Mike will follow up with Andy/John to see if there's any way to set the priority on a specific segment to be higher, as it's losing us trial customers.
• The Council has given the +1 for working on a new website which will hopefully help us with driving trial signups from SMB/enterprise as well as raising awareness of Mautic as a product
• We realised that we don't have the resources within the Dropsolid team or within the community to effectively project manage the website redesign/launch process. We might need to think about bringing someone in part time who has this as their primary focus. Action: Ruth to propose this to Council using existing Marketing Team budget which is to date unused
• We should create an assembly on the portal so we have a space to share updates, get feedback on wireframes and iterations. Also we should form a focus group where we can take our research findings and test assumptions. Action: Ruth to set up a working group under the Marketing Team
• Mailfloss is still not working, Ruth needs to find a way for Acquia's infrastructure to stop stripping out /mautic/ from the URL path.
