Mautic Community of Barcelona
Our mission is to promote Mautic, its community, and the open-source project.
To achieve this objective, we at Mautic Meetup Barcelona have committed to organizing regular events. These gatherings will serve as platforms for sharing experiences, fostering learning, and creating opportunities for synergistic collaborations and networking.
We aspire to create an inclusive environment where all individuals interested in the project can find a space for mutual engagement and collaboration, enabling them to learn, share, and grow together.
The format of our meetings will primarily consist of content presentations, followed by a question-and-answer session with attendees, as well as workshops. Individuals interested in participating are also encouraged to submit their queries, questions, or proposals in advance, thereby enhancing the participatory nature of these events.
A key element we aim to integrate is the dynamic facilitation of these gatherings. We will continually explore the most effective approaches for each meeting, assessing which strategies yield the best outcomes. Our ultimate goal is to encourage attendee retention, foster active participation, and cultivate a sense of community within the group.
Organizing Team: We are a team of three individuals (Joan, Javier and Pep) driven by the desire to continue learning, build community, and share our experiences.
The key responsibilities for the organizing team will be:
- Logistics for event creation on the platform, including pre-event and post-event communications (Title, description, and featured image)
- Promotion of the event across the personal networks of each organizer
- Hosting the meetup event
- Facilitation of the event, which includes resource creation and defining the dynamics of the meeting
And of course always operating from the foundation provided by the community's proposed Code of Conduct: General Guidelines for Official Mautic Meetups.
Collaboration Among Members and With Other Communities:
We aim to foster active collaboration among the members of our group and with other open-source communities, creating a space where each individual can contribute their unique knowledge.
We are seeking alliances with other groups and enterprises that can add value to our meetups, whether that be through sharing speakers, co-organizing events, or conducting joint activities.
This collaborative approach and formation of alliances not only enrich our endeavors but also position us as an integral part of a broader community. This collective effort enables us to jointly advance both Mautic and the open-source movement at large.
The meetings will take place in the city of Barcelona and will be open to the public with a free access. We are planning to offer both in-person and online participation options.

This sounds like a great opportunity to bring Mautic to the folks of Barcelona! Great to see that you've already got a team of people who want to be involved with running the group as well, which makes it much more sustainable.
