From strategy to plan: Creating Mautic's marketing operational plan

We now have the ability to run separate channels for community and product marketing on all social networks, hurrah!
This meeting will see us planning out how to do this - both the launching and the ongoing maintenance of those channels, for example campaigns we might want to run over the year, things we want to focus on drawing attention to on the product side, events we might need to proactively plan to support with social comms, etc.
If you'd like to help us with working on taking the strategy and making it into an actionable plan, join this call! We're planning to get the ball rolling and start the brainstorming, then we can involve folks who want to be doing things like content, visual design etc further down the line once we have clarity on the campaigns we want to run, goals, etc.

- Introductions in the team
- Talked through the progress so far in setting the objectives and key results
- Explained how we want to chunk down each key result into specific projects that we can assign people to take ownership of.
- Perhaps we can have someone who contributes by breaking these down into smaller tasks and creates them as Jira issues which would keep us moving forward - Chandeep also said we should make sure that we're making the tasks as small as possible.
- Isabela explained how they do GTM in her company, she recommends starting with the positioning first, and then from that we can pull out the rest
- Ruth agreed - especially as we're launching new social media channels where we need to set the tone etc.
- In Q1 we should focus on laying the foundations in terms of communicating our vision, mission and strategy when we launch the new site
- Campaign on launch which re-iterates and refreshes our vision, mission and focus as a 'go to market' - Isabela is happy to take this on

- Social media - consistency in communication, visual styles, and focus
- Developing copy brand guide for each channel and for the difference between product and community focused - Chandeep is happy to take this on with support from Ruth
- Developing a visual design brand guide for the community / product - Emily is happy to take this on
- Create a content strategy in Q1 - Sven will lead this
- We're going to try working with 6-week long sprints using a kanban board
- Planning meeting every 6 weeks to do a retro on the sprint and plan the next one in a couple of weeks before starting the new sprint (inspired by https://basecamp.com/shapeup) where we can liaise with stakeholders and figure out what needs prioritising.
