Welcome to the mid-Q4 2025 meeting of the Mautic Council, where the Council members convene to discuss strategic initiatives and make foundational decisions shaping the future of Mautic.
Council members have a unique platform at this meeting to bring forth and advocate for topics that matter most to our community, fostering innovation and growth. If you are a council member and there are specific topics that you wish to propose for consideration during the council meeting, we urge you to use the Proposals Component on our portal. Your ideas not only pave the way for meaningful dialogue but also form the bedrock of our collective decision-making process.

As the Mautic Council, we want to have a clear vision and strategy of the AI capabilities Mautic has in the core, and what should be made available through the marketplace.
Goal of the meeting:
What do we already have is clear
We defined the idea of a vision and strategy (notes, not final doc)
We have prioritized list of the most asked use cases
A first use case to implement using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) is defined.

Axelerant to assign a Mautic developer for review; community cost-sharing discussed.

AI Vision Workshop
Focus areas: marketer assistant, personalization, data insights, and content creation.
Goal: define first AI use case and long-term vision.
Principles: optional AI, human-in-the-loop, maintainable core.
Possible early features: best send time, A/B testing, reporting assistance.
Proposal to integrate Symfony AI bundle and provide access to AI models for developers.
Leadership Transition
Preparations underway for Ruth’s 2026 absence.

Topics: ELTS, AI, release cycle, certifications, membership, and finances.
Focus on positive messaging about Mautic’s progress.
