Campaign Library phase 1 delivery - weekly update 13 Jun

Avatar: Official post Official post

Project name: Campaign Library Phase 1
Status: 🟢 Complete!

We have successfully completed Phase 1 of the project, with all code now ready for the final merge into the main branch. This milestone represents the culmination of several weeks of intensive development work, where Levente has implemented all the core features and functionality outlined in the initial project specifications. The codebase has undergone comprehensive testing and quality assurance reviews, so we can feel confident that the standards for performance, security, and maintainability have been met.

We extend our sincere thanks to John Linhart, Martin Vooremäe, Anderson Eccel, and Kuzmany who helped us test, review and finalise the code, providing valuable insights and ensuring code quality throughout the process. We are also grateful to Marcus Boynton who provided excellent support during penetration testing, helping us identify and address potential security vulnerabilities on the latter stages of development.

During the final stages of Phase 1, the team conducted thorough code reviews and addressed all outstanding issues identified during the development process. Integration testing has been completed successfully, with all modules working seamlessly together as intended. Test coverage has been improved and all CI/CD testing has passed.

With Phase 1 now effectively completed, we are positioned to begin the transition into the next phase of development activities. We look forward to the decision on funding for Phase 2 from NL Net, which will enable us to continue building on this solid foundation and provide the web front end for the Campaign Library. Additionally, we are excited to see the impact our feature development will have when it is launched as part of Mautic 7 over the summer, bringing these new capabilities to the broader user community.

On a personal note, this has been my first experience working in the Open Source community and I have enjoyed the challenge of bringing these features into the world, working with a great set of people. Thank you for your support!
