Campaign Library phase 1 delivery - weekly update 4 Apr

Avatar: Official post Official post

Hi all

Project name: Campaign Library Phase 1
Status: 🟢 On target

Our goal for this week was to complete the intended development for Phase 1 of the Campaign Library project. As I write we have 3 open tickets with one in progress. The two tickets that are yet to be started I consider to be a lower priority (confirming that with the team) so I think we are in good shape to start with the testing phase of the work next week. 7 tickets have been completed in this sprint, including an extension of the API call to import campaigns using an attached file, and being able to import and export multiple campaigns with one action.

So the next step is all about testing the good work that's been produced. I have had some success engaging with the Mautic community, so I can announce that the testing team for the next couple of sprints looks like this:

Code review
@john
Internal testing

@Joey Keller@kuzmany@Martin Vooremäe supported by Levente and myself
Community testing
mikew, entrepositive (via the Mautic forums)

I am optimistic that our continuous review process and the strong technical support throughout should prevent any catastrophic issues being found. However, as is always the case with software, we won't truly know what we might discover until the product is used "in anger" in real-world conditions.

Keep an eye on GitHub issues if you want to see what's being raised!

Thank you
David
