#MauticCampaignLibrary Innovation in Action: Establishing Mautic's Campaign Library
Campaign Library phase 1 delivery - weekly update 21 Feb
Project name: Campaign Library Phase 1
Status: 🟢 On target
This week, the development effort has continued to focus on adding more entities to the import and export routines with the mapping of dependencies being a key challenge. The goal of the project is to deliver a structure that no matter what campaign setups users may have, the export and import functions will be able to recognise and replicate them. We are doing our best to make this a robust solution that can cope with whatever Mautic users out there can throw at it!
Also with robustness in mind, I have been looking into some of the 'non-code' deliverables of the project to ensure we understand them and can fit into the project timelines comfortably. I have completed an initial documentation brief that will help the Mautic Education and docs team to write the developer and user-focused documentation to support the new features later down the line. I have asked questions about the security audit that we are due to run towards the end of the project with an NL Net-affiliated organisation Radically Open Security. That seems like it will be a valuable learning exercise for those connected to Mautic. Finally, I have looked into the marketing that will be required for the features alongside the Mautic 7 launch later in the year (somewhat ahead of myself there as Mautic 6 is yet to fully launch!)
We have our latest sprint review on Monday where Levente will demo the latest code developed for the team. If you're interested in joining just let me know.
Thank you
David
