What is your background with Mautic?

I started working on Mautic in 2015 with my company as Mautic Hosted provider and with the philosophy of sharing back to community what we do.

Since that, I've been involved in Core Team and Product Team to help the product and the community grow.

What contributions have you made to Mautic?

Myself:

  • Documentation
  • API Doc
  • Few PR (i am not a developer)
  • Testing / review
  • Bug reports
  • Product Team contributions

Webmecanik itself (with teammates):

  • Documentation
  • API Doc
  • A lot of code contributions, main community contributor (behing Acquia and Mautic inc.)
  • Testing / review
  • Bug reports
  • Product Team and Marketing Team contributions

What is your vision for Mautic?

Mautic must be a marketing automation pure player, not being shy to be considered as alternative of Marketo and Hubspot.

From a Community perspective, we need to better handle contributions and contributions on product side, to valorise it and integrate it faster contributions.

What do you bring to the Mautic Community Council?

  1. Vision from a partner using mautic everyday and with 600 instances running and feedbacks from +2000 users.
  2. Pushing the product to be more UI/UX friendly, keep in mind this is marketeers using the software.
  3. Global knowledge about the background of the project (since 2015).

Why should community members vote for you?

For this vision, for this background and for the robustness of my experience around mautic. Also because I really want we focus better on the contributions and contributors to never waste community work time and make the project taking advantage of it.
