Position: Volunteer Audio-Visual Lead

Event Date: 4-5 November 2024

Commitment: 2-3 hours per week on average, with a significant increase in time during the weeks leading up to the event.

About the Role:

Mautic Conference Europe is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Volunteer Audio-Visual Lead to manage all aspects of the audio-visual processing for our upcoming event in Lisbon, Portugal, in November 2024. This role is vital for ensuring high-quality recording, processing, and publishing of all event sessions, providing an exceptional experience for future watchers of the recorded videos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audio-Visual Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of the audio-visual setup for the event, ensuring all sessions are recorded, processed, and published online.
• Team Building: Recruit and manage a team of volunteers to monitor and operate audio-visual equipment during sessions.
• Equipment Management: Oversee the setup, testing, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition.
• Session Recording: Coordinate the recording of all sessions, ensuring high-quality audio and video capture.
• Video Processing: Build and support the team who will be helping with processing and editing of recorded videos, preparing them for publication.
• Publishing: Oversee the timely publishing of session videos online, ensuring accessibility for all attendees.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team leads to ensure the audio-visual setup aligns with the overall event strategy.
• Availability: Commit to 2-3 hours per week on average, with a significant increase in time during the weeks leading up to the event, including full availability during the event.
