About the Role:

The Mautic Ambassador Program Lead will play a crucial role in establishing and leading a global network of Regional Ambassadors to promote the Mautic open source marketing automation tool. This is a volunteer position aimed at fostering community engagement, driving awareness, and supporting the adoption of Mautic across different regions.

Responsibilities:

1. Program Management:

▪ Develop and implement the Mautic Ambassador Program strategy.

▪ Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of Regional Ambassadors.

▪ Ensure ambassadors have the resources and support needed to succeed in their roles.

2. Leadership and Coordination:

▪ Lead monthly sync meetings with Regional Ambassadors to collect progress reports, provide guidance, and discuss strategies.

▪ Coordinate with the Community Team Lead to align ambassador activities with overall community goals.

▪ Mentor and support ambassadors, providing feedback and assistance as needed.

3. Community Engagement:

▪ Foster a positive and supportive culture within the Mautic community.

▪ Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among ambassadors and community members.

▪ Facilitate communication between ambassadors and the Mautic development team to relay user feedback and suggestions.

4. Event Planning and Promotion:

▪ Assist ambassadors in organizing and promoting local events, webinars, workshops, and meetups.

▪ Support ambassadors in establishing partnerships with local businesses, agencies, and organizations.

▪ Ensure the creation and maintenance of regional social media accounts for event promotion and community engagement.

5. Monitoring and Evaluation:

▪ Track key metrics to measure the impact of the ambassador program.

▪ Create and maintain a feedback system to continuously improve the program's effectiveness.

▪ Compile and review progress reports from ambassadors, summarizing achievements and identifying areas for improvement.

6. Recognition and Retention:

▪ Recognize and reward ambassador contributions through official titles, profiles on the Mautic website, and other incentives.

▪ Address ambassador retention and removal based on activity levels, adherence to the Code of Conduct, and overall performance.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Ideally 2 years of experience in marketing automation or related fields.

• Proven track record of community engagement and leadership.

• Familiarity with Mautic’s features and functionalities is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Ability to motivate and inspire volunteers.

• Proficiency in using social media and online collaboration tools.

Commitment:

• Willingness to dedicate the necessary hours per week to the program.

• Passion for open source projects and community building.
