Mautic Trials Working Group

A regular meeting of the working group building the Mautic trials infrastructure and marketing.

Notes from this meeting

• The tour guide is now live in new trial instances - Mike is looking into Posthog to see if there's any appreciable changes in user activity (e.g. are they putting the tracking code on their websites)
• Perhaps look at /s/config/edit#trackingconfig hits/clicks
• More content will be added to the tour guide - to be validated and then it'll be deployed. Meeting sometime next week
• Mike will open a ticket to discuss whether to open source the tour guide for Mautic with a view to including it in Core, maybe as a plugin included in core?
• Discussion on how things will change with the new website - people going straight to the hosting option
• There's some issue with around 20% of the images having spaces in the filename which is causing a problem on import. Mike to send an email to the provider to see if there's something we can do with that.

Actions:

• Mike will look into whether there's the possibility of tracking in more depth the actions we are directing people to on the tour guide
• Tour guide content to be validated and then implemented - ideally next week is the meeting
• Mike to open a ticket internally about considering open sourcing the tour guide
• Mike to follow up on the images not being correctly rendered after import, due to spaces in the filenames.
