Week 13 : Mautic Marketplace : Implementing auth0.

Welcome to week 13

This week we started focusing on auth0 and how we can effectively use it with our marketplace.

For that I went through the various documentation of the auth0 and created some demo type implementation to understand the auth0 better.

I just created a small react app that had the login and logout button and just followed the documentation of the auth0. And in the demo app I can see that all the authentication related things are managed by auth0. when the user clicks on login then auth0 also redirects to the page what we give it to the callback URL.

We discussed where to show the rating form. I tried with the php auth0 sdk and tried to implement the mautic side but there are many drawbacks in that approach.
So we finalised that I will create one react app which supports rating review and authentication of auth0 and then we embedded the rating and review button with the marketplace.

My mentors suggested some changes to build a good UI for rating and review pages. And we also discussed how we can connect the specific package with their corresponding package.

For Next week I will plan to implement the UI and document the things for my final evaluation.
