The Weekly Check-in Meeting for the Mautic Community Portal Working Group serves as a regular forum for the team to connect, review our progress, and align goals for the next phase.
Taking a deep dive into the health, functionality, and evolution of the Decidim instance, we discuss updates, review open issues, brainstorm enhancements, and engage in open dialogue to foster continuous improvement of the community portal.
This meeting builds on our collective commitment to maintain a vibrant Mautic community. Come prepared to share, learn, and strategize as we continue to refine our community engagement platform.

- ACTION: Hadrien will test locally pulling in the specific code for the timezone feature as it's not been released in backported versions. He'll just pull in the code and check it's working, shouldn't be a problem for the future - to report back next week [Done - it wasn't back ported so we have to update to 0.29]
- ACTION: Hadrien will sync in the latest data from the community portal so it's up to date [Postponed]
- ACTION: Ruth to add QA bugs to a GitHub issue [Done]
Notes from this meeting
- We're looking at an update to 0.29 at the end of the month, Octree are working on bug fixes
- Action: Hadrien will push the fix with Etherpad next week
- There's a bug with locale switching which is a bit of a problem in 0.29, clicking on the details of an assembly clicks back to the base language.
- In two weeks we'll be able to test the 0.29 update in staging - Hadrien to push the changes there.
- Decidim Awesome are about to push the update for 0.29 with timezones next week which will be rolled into our update. Action: Hadrien to send test env for the timezones next week
- Ruth will need to update the docs to show how to set your timezone
- Ruth will add a banner notice to the site to inform people about the timezone feature and point to our docs about it
- Need to know what timezone is used where a timezone preference isn't set for the user
- Discussion about calendar integration sometimes going wonky - it's been better behaved recently. Ruth talked about some issues with languages and Hadrien mentioned that we could use https://www.deepl.com/en/translator to translate some content, it's basically free based on their free tier
- Ruth needs to create a new AWS bucket for the images in 0.29 and check the backups are uploading as expected
